AP AFRICAN AMERICAN STUDIES

APUSHslides provides classroom-ready resources for all four units of AP African American Studies, organized to follow the College Board AP African American Studies Course and Exam Description (CED). The curriculum covers the history, experiences, cultures, and contributions of African Americans and the broader African diaspora through topic-by-topic materials designed for use in the AP African American Studies classroom.

Each unit includes free PDF student notes and corresponding lecture videos covering the topics in the College Board CED. The curriculum also incorporates primary and secondary sources, opportunities for historical analysis, and supplemental activities designed to help students engage with the people, events, ideas, and debates at the center of the course.
