about apush slides
APUSHslides was created by a classroom teacher with 15 years of teaching experience, including 13 years teaching AP courses in U.S. History, World History, U.S. Government, Comparative Government, and African American Studies.
About six years ago, I began assinging lectures outside of class after finding that long classroom lectures left too little time for students to engage directly with primary sources, practice historical writing, and discuss the material together. The notes and lecture videos available on APUSHslides grew out of that approach and have been developed and refined through use with my own students.
My goal is to make high-quality, classroom-tested history resources accessible to teachers and students while giving teachers the flexibility to adapt the materials to fit their own classrooms.
